Not only is this a considerable concentration of cannabidiol (CBD), it’s a full-spectrum hemp extract with other beneficial plant compounds like terpenes and flavonoids. It's made from our Charlotte’s Web proprietary hemp genetics and is a great option for those who are already familiar with CBD and are ready for the next step.

What makes this different from Original Formula? Glad you asked. Both are full-spectrum but here are a few key differences:

1) Amount of CBD – While they have different amounts of CBD, the concentration is very close. 60mg offers 60 milligrams of CBD per each milliliter of extract. Original Formula also contains a high concentration of CBD with 50mg per mL.

2) Type of Extraction – While the amount of CBD in a serving is similar, the ways we extract these products are quite different. 60mg is extracted with CO2 extraction. This efficient process allows us to process greater amounts of our hemp more quickly and produce more extract when we do. The result is a full-spectrum CBD oil with a smoother flavor. Our Original Formula, on the other hand, is made in a small batch, labor-intensive process through alcohol extraction. This produces a darker extract with a very earthy flavor and even with the flavors of the carrier oils (mint chocolate and extra virgin olive oil), you will still notice the taste of hemp come through. It’s not for everyone. If you’re sensitive to tastes and haven’t tried any of our products yet, a CO2-extracted oil may be the best place to start.

3) Flavors – And speaking of flavors, Original Formula is available in Mint Chocolate and Olive Oil flavors. 60 mg is currently available in Mint Chocolate, Lemon Twist and Orange Blossom!
